::: Maybe its the title of the song, or maybe it's the 4 minutes of constant, relentless background drums - whatever - this song has a dark, spooky feel (like the show).

Are You Alive?

::: A perfect example of, "Not all bad movies have bad music." This is a great cd, lots of compelling soundtrack music - heroic, climactic moments underscored with full orchestra.

Dry Land

::: The desert is a big place... so it follows that you need a big, sweeping score to fiil it. A site favorite.

Main title theme

::: If you like a good march you'll like this "cyber march" by Alex Leifson (yeah, the guy from the Canadian power trio, RUSH). This is the kind of song that makes you want to tune in and watch the show.

Season One Theme

::: Just added music from the following 2 cds, The Best of Godzilla 1954-1975, and BOG 1984-1995. Some great tracks, including Mothra's Song, performed by The Peanuts (!). Here's a short clip:
Mothra's Song

::: Another clip from the same cd, Main Theme for Godzilla. It has a simple, catchy, relentless message, "here comes Godzilla!"

Godzilla, Main Theme

::: Oboe? Clarinet? We can't tell which but we do know a 2 hankie melody when we hear one. The title of this song alone is pretty sad, "I Don't Belong Here." This cd, The Time Machine, is great - lots of grand orchestral music. From Klaus Bedalt of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I Don't Belong Here

::: Another excellant cd, plenty of inventive approaches to soundtrack music, from Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, etc.). Listen to they way A Bad Beginning begins.

A Bad Beginning

::: From classic television: The theme from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Seaview by Paul Sawtell. Even if you only saw the show once you know this tune.
